Terms of Service
Last updated: June 2026
Welcome to PrintHub. Please read these terms carefully — by using the service, you agree to this agreement.
1. Acceptance
By accessing or using any part of PrintHub, you confirm that you have read, understood and agreed to these Terms of Service. If you disagree with any part, please stop using the service immediately.
2. Eligibility & account
You must register with a valid email address. Accounts may not be shared; you are responsible for safeguarding your credentials and for everything done under your account.
3. Acceptable use
You may not use PrintHub to upload, distribute or print content that violates applicable laws — including (but not limited to) obscene, violent, or terrorist material, or material that infringes third-party copyright or trade secrets. PrintHub reserves the right to restrict offending content and accounts.
4. printer-agent registration tokens
Registration tokens issued under "My Printers" (formatted phb.<owner_uuid>.<secret>) are shown only once. The token is effectively a long-lived credential for your printer — write it directly into the printer-agent configuration file and avoid placing it in shared files, public buckets or source repositories. If a token is leaked, remove the affected printer and issue a new one. The PrintHub server stores credentials as a key_prefix index plus a bcrypt (cost 10) hash; plaintext is never persisted.
5. Third-party services
PrintHub integrates with third-party services you select, including IPP printers (on your LAN or remote), third-party OAuth providers (Google / GitHub / Apple), and object storage (Tencent COS / Aliyun OSS / S3 / MinIO). Each third party is governed by its own terms.
6. Intellectual property
You retain full ownership of documents you upload. PrintHub only stores and distributes them to the extent necessary to provide the print, browse and download features. PrintHub's code, interface and brand are owned by the operating team and may not be copied, redistributed or used commercially without authorization.
7. Suspension & termination
If you breach these terms, applicable laws, or simply do not use the account for a long period, PrintHub may restrict or terminate the account. Upon termination, your public documents may be deleted; private documents are handled per the Privacy Policy.
8. Disclaimer
PrintHub is provided "as is". We do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or fit for any particular purpose. We are not responsible for print failures caused by hardware issues, network outages, or third-party service unavailability.
9. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the PrintHub maintainers, contributors and affiliates are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, punitive or consequential damages, including lost profits, data, or goodwill.
10. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms to reflect product or regulatory changes. Material changes will be announced prominently in the product. Continued use after such changes means you accept the updated terms.
11. Governing law & contact
These terms are governed by the laws of the People's Republic of China. For questions or rights requests, please reach us through the project repository's issue tracker or by email.
